Three providers with UK HealthCare have been inducted as fellows by the American College of Critical Care Medicine.
Asha Shenoi, Ashley Montgomery-Yates and Alex Flannery have been named fellows in the American College of Critical Care Medicine, honoring their contributions to the field of critical care in the areas of professionalism, collaborative, multi-professional practice, scholarly activity, program development and leadership.
UK HealthCare has 154 physicians practicing medicine with University of Kentucky Albert B. Chandler Hospital, Kentucky Children's Hospital and UK Good Samaritan Hospital who appear on the Best Doctors in America List for 2019-20 — more than any other hospital in Kentucky.
The UK Polk Dalton Clinic is launching a new educational outreach program that will tackle tough topics, including a variety of issues identified as barriers to living healthy and happy lives.
The “First Fridays Family Education Series” will be held at the clinic on the first Friday of each month and will feature local experts who will speak on wide-ranging topics that influence individuals every day.

LEXINGTON, Ky. (Sept. 16, 2019) — The University of Kentucky has been recognized as a "Great College to Work For" by The Chronicle of Higher Education for the second consecutive year.
Now in its 12th year, the Chronicle’s Great Colleges to Work For program recognizes colleges for best practices and policies based on a survey of faculty and staff. The annual survey is one of the largest and most comprehensive workplace recognition programs in higher education.
