Learner Information
Why did you choose the University of Kentucky?
I chose UK because of the excellent faculty and academic hospital that acts as a tertiary referral center for a large region allowing for diverse exposure to rare kidney pathology. I am also from the Lexington area and enjoy the safety of the city and being close to family.
What do you like about your program?
The faculty mentors and program leadership encourage professional and academic growth. We can lead conferences about interesting clinical cases, journal clubs, book reviews, and quality improvement projects. We also have wellness meetings about once a month with free food.
What are your hobbies?
I like cooking, cross country running, gardening, and reading. Currently reading Brando Sanderson’s Mistborn trilogy.
