Hematology / Oncology Fellowship

A three-year combined program leading to ABIM board eligibility in hematology and medical oncology.

Welcome to the Hematology/Oncology Fellowship at the University of Kentucky Medical Center. Our mission is to provide the highest level of care supported by continuous success in laboratory and clinical research, to every patient that we encounter. The Division of Hematology and Blood and Marrow Transplantation and Division of Medical Oncology is supported by national leaders in the management of cancer and treatment of benign hematological conditions.

Our three-year ACGME accredited fellowship program offers fellows the opportunity to work with a range of hematologic and oncologic disorders in a variety of settings in the Bluegrass ranging from the inner-city population to the underserved Appalachian region. Fellows are given the opportunity to focus on both clinical and bench research projects under the mentorship of our faculty members.
