Outpatient Services
The outpatient services provided by the division of pulmonary, critical care, and sleep medicine include the outpatient general pulmonary clinic, as well as the division's specialty clinics.
Inpatient Services
The division staffs the medical intensive care unit (MICU) at UK Chandler Hospital. This unit cares for critically-ill patients from all regions of the Bluegrass and surrounding states and has over 1,000 patient admissions per year. The MICU service welcomes patient transfers at all times of the day or night.
Testing Services
The pulmonary function testing center provides a full array of pulmonary diagnostic tests including spirometry, lung volumes, diffusion capacity, six-minute walk tests, bronchoprovocation testing, and full cardiopulmonary exercise testing.
