The Division of Cardiovascular Medicine is committed to achieving the utmost standards in the diagnosis and treatment of heart and vascular disease. Through our dedication to scholarly pursuits we aim to improve the future of heart health across Kentucky and beyond. To this end we provide clinical services based on the latest evidence and technology, by advancing knowledge through research and by educating those in training, in practice and our patients.
Our faculty comprises a multidisciplinary team of physicians and scientists who draw from disciplines of adult cardiovascular medicine, cardiac and vascular surgery, interventional cardiology, heart failure, imaging and electrophysiology.
The Division of Cardiovascular Medicine is housed within the Linda and Jack Gill Heart Institute. Founded in 1997, the Gill Heart Institute’s state-of-the-art facilities enable us to set the standard in delivering the most advanced patient care.
