The College of Medicine Division of Rheumatology faculty provides clinical services in rheumatology through UK HealthCare at the UK Chandler Hospital, Kentucky Children's Hospital, Good Samaritan, and Kentucky Clinic. Outpatient services in the Kentucky Clinic are only provided to new patients through health care provider referral.  The UK Rheumatology Clinic treats the following disorders (but is not necessarily limited to):

  • Rheumatoid arthritis
  • Systemic lupus erythematosus
  • Scleroderma (systemic sclerosis)
  • Polymyositis/dermatomyositis
  • Sjögren's syndrome
  • Temporal or giant cell arteritis
  • Polymyalgia rheumatica
  • Granulomatosis with polyangiitis
  • Polyarteritis nodosa
  • Ankylosing spondylitis
  • Psoriatic arthritis
  • Reactive arthritis
  • Arthritis associated with Crohn's disease or ulcerative colitis
  • Behcet's syndrome
  • Takayasu's arteritis and other forms of vasculitis
  • Gout and pseudogout
